3. To take a video, press the button. The icon will show on the top left of the
screen. Press OK to start recording your video and the red counter (clock) on the
top right of the screen counts up showing you the recording time. Press OK once
again to stop recording.
NOTE: The default setting for the Wildlife Camera to power off is 3 minutes. If you
do not operate the Wildlife Camera within 3 minutes, the device will automatically
shut down. In this instance, slide the switch back to the OFF position and then
slide the switch back to the SETUP position to restart. To change the setting for
auto-shut off, refer to the ‘Menu Options and Settings’ section on pages 21-25.
NOTE: When shooting video manually, in the SETUP (test) mode only, in daytime
and at night, the Wildlife Camera will stop recording automatically after 29
minutes, when one video clip size gets to 4GB, when the memory card is full,
or when the built-in battery power drops to 10% and/or the AA Alkaline battery
available power is less than 30%.
Auto Recording
1. Slide the Power/Mode switch to SETUP mode.
2. Press the
button to enter playback mode, then press the button once
again to access the menu options and settings.
3. Refer to the ‘Menu Options and Settings’ section starting from page 21 for how
to navigate the main menu and sub menu options to select and confirm the
shooting setting: ‘Photo’, ‘Video’ or ‘Photo + Video’.
4. Press the
button to exit the menu and return to the viewing screen.
5. The
icon will display in the top left corner of the viewing screen.
NOTE: The same
will display when in ‘Photo’, ‘Video’ and ‘Photo + Video’ mode.
Ensure you have selected desired recording setting before confirming and existing
the menu.
6. Slide the Power/Mode switch to ON (live) mode. The Wildlife Camera is now set to
automatically record photos, video or both depending on the mode and settings
you have selected.
TIP: It is recommended to use the default settings when recording video in the ON
(live) mode.
