To remove the mains adapter from the socket, always take hold of
the adapter by the housing. Never pull on the cable.
The mains adapter must not be opened.
Do not cover the mains adapter.
Remove the mains adapter from the power socket immediately if
you hear unusual noises coming from the mains adapter or the
device, or if you discover smoke coming from the mains adapter or
device.
Do not place containers filled with liquid, e.g. vases, on or near
the device, and protect all the parts from dripping or sprayed
water. Such containers may tip over and the liquid may impair the
electrical safety of the device.
Never open the device housing and do not push objects inside the
device through the slots and openings.
In the event of damage to the mains adapter or the device itself or
if liquids or foreign bodies get into the device, unplug the mains
adapter immediately.
Unplug the mains adapter from the socket if you are away for a
long period or there is a thunderstorm.
Major changes in temperature or fluctuations in humidity can cause
moisture to build up within the device due to condensation – this can
cause an electrical short circuit.
After transporting the device, wait until it has reached ambient
temperature before switching it on.
Check the device and mains adapter for damage before using the
device for the first time and after each use.
Do not use the device if the device or mains adapter show visible
signs of damage.
If you discover any damage or experience any technical
problems, always have the device repaired by a qualified
technician.
