10 Carefully extract the transceiver module.
11 Remove the 2 screws (B) with a 90° 2.5 mm Allen
®
key.
12 Loosen the 2 internal screws (C) with a 90° 2.5 mm Allen
®
key.
13 Remove the performance monitor module.
Install new transceiver module
14 Slide performance monitor module under 2 screws (C) and tighten with 90º 2.5 mm Allen
®
key.
15 Insert 2 screws (B) and tighten with 90º 2.5 mm Allen
®
key.
16 Apply thermal grease from the brick spare kit on the rails and heat pipe heat sink before installing the new transceiver
module. This will guarantee correct heat dissipation.
17 Insert the new transceiver module in position lining up the four holes.
18 Insert the four M6 screws (A) and secure using T30 Torx
®
key.
19 Insert the four M4 screws to secure the heat-pipe using T20 Torx
®
key.
20 Reconnect the SMA connector on the performance monitor module, and tighten with 8 mm open wrench.
21 Insert all cable connectors, and ensure that all cables are properly secured with cable ties.
22 Check that the O-rings are correctly seated in the end caps before closing the pedestal.
23 Use the 5 mm Allen
®
key to tighten the captive screws in both endcaps.
24 Switch the safety switch to the ON position.
25 On the electric switchboard, set the radar main breaker to ON and remove the card reading:
“WORK IN PROGRESS - DO NOT SWITCH ON”.
26 On the R5000 PSU, switch the power switch to the ON position and remove the card reading:
“WORK IN PROGRESS - DO NOT SWITCH ON”.
27 The radar is ready to be tested.
28 Carry out radar installation settings in the installation menu.
