VDR
Used to identify the VDR device on the LWE network. The system can be configured to
establish the communication with VDR via LWE.
The VDR source SFI must be assigned with:
• A 4 digit Lightweight Ethernet of the SFI (System Function ID).
• A 2 character (talker identifier) of the SFI (System Function ID).
Select the edition 2 or the legacy edition 1 of the LWE communication protocol.
Select the type of the Binary Image to be transferred to VDR.
Select the proper transmission group as per VDR network configuration.
Enter the Binary Image transmission time (between 00 and 14) to the VDR. If adding 00 the BI
will be transmitted every 15 seconds at 00, 15, 45 of the UTC seconds.
Enter the radar type and radar identifier number.
TT/OSD/RSD
Check the box to enable the transmission of the tracking target data, own-ship data and
radar system data to LWE network.
The radar talker identifier prefix of the SFI is RA and the transmission groups are:
• TGTD for the tracking data.
• NAVD for own-ship data and radar system data.
