reinforcementbypushinginthereversebutton,
locatedthecenterofthestitchlengthdial.Hold
buttoninuntilstitchingreachesedgeoffabric.
Releasepushbuttonforforwardstitching.
Mostfabricsneedonlytobeguidedinfrontof
thepresserfoot.Somefabrics,however,require
supportwhilebeingstitched.
•Fortricot,andothersimilarsyntheticknits,
applygentletensionbyholdingthefabricat
thefrontandbackofpresserfootasyousew.
Donotpullfabric.
•Forelasticizedfabric,stretchlace,andknits
withanunusualamountofelasticity,holdthe
fabricfirmilyinfrontandbackofthepresser
foottostretchtheseamasthestitchesare
beingplaced.
Sewinginreverse
Tosecuretheendofaseam,pushinthereverse
buttonandbackstitch3-4stitches.Raiseneedle
andpresserfootandremovefabricbydrawingit
tothebackandleft.Cutthreadonthreadcutter
onpresserbar.
