Fuel cock – open fuel tank with greater quantity of fuel (If is left fuel tank fi lled with more than ½ of fuel 3.
capacity, it is necessary to switch fuel cock to the left fuel tank.)
Fuel stop cock – open it (if installed)4.
Throttle –set idle (for cool engine; 1/3 for warm engine)5.
Choke – according to engine temperature6.
Propeller pitch – set minimal angle (if it is adjustable)7.
Hold nose wheel in straight direction8.
Area around propeller – free9.
Magnetos – switch on both circuits (A+B)10.
Fuel pump – switch on11.
Press the starter12.
Set engine speed after start up – 2500 1/min13.
Check oil and fuel pressure14.
Segmental switches – switch them on (transceiver, beacon, etc.)15.
Fuel pump – switch off , when the fuel pressure is in normal16.
Electric fuel pump may not be switched on with empty fuel tanks and closed fuel cock!
