Remove the hanger and spacer brackets. At the locations marked in steps 5 and 6, insert
a drywall anchor. However, if any keyhole location is at a stud, you don't need to use a
drywall anchor.

Use the stud finder to locate the studs. For the upper and lower boom brackets, mark
where the upper and lower rows of slots intersect the studs. You must mark locations in at
least two studs for each row of slots.

If your wall has metal studs, remove the upper and lower boom brackets from the wall. At
each stud location, drill a ¼"
(6 mm)
pilot hole and then a ½"
(13 mm)
hole for the toggle
bolt anchor. Try to hit the middle of each metal stud.
Insert a toggle bolt anchor in each hole.

Return all brackets to the wall following steps 3 through 6. For the spacer bracket, tighten
the keyhole screws using the Phillips hand screwdriver.
IMPORTANT:
Use the bubble level to make sure all brackets are level.

For the hanger and spacer brackets, insert a #8 x 1¼" truss head screw into each drywall
anchor, using the Phillips hand screwdriver.

If your wall has wood studs, use the electric screwdriver to insert a #8 x 2½" wood screw
and a washer at each stud location marked in step 8.
If your wall has metal studs, insert by hand a ¼-20 UNC x 1½" Phillips pan head bolt into
each toggle bolt anchor. Once the threads begin to catch, you can use the Phillips hand
screwdriver to tighten each bolt.

Tighten all screws, including those at the keyhole locations.
