52 SMART LightRaise Installation and User's Guide
To shut down the LightRaise projector mount:
1
Press the System Off button.
At first, the System Off indicator will flash rapidly. After approximately five minutes, it will
flash more slowly while the fan cools off the projector lamp. Finally, the LightRaise mount
shuts the projector down and the red System Off indicator glows steadily.
Projector in Standby and Cool Down States
NOTE:
While the LightRaise mount is powering down, the control panel will respond only if
you press the System On button, as described below.
To restart the LightRaise projector mount:
1
Press the System On button.
When the System Off indicator is flashing quickly, pressing the System On button instantly
returns your projected image.
When the System Off indicator is flashing slowly, pressing the System On button restarts
the LightRaise mount. However, you won't see your projected image instantaneously. The
green System On indicator will flash and you'll have to wait awhile before the LightRaise
mount and the projector are ready for use. Depending on the temperature of the lamp, this
may take three minutes or longer.
If the System On indicator continues to flash after the volume level and source indicators
are lit, check that the currently selected source is powered on and properly connected.
Automatic Shut-Off Feature
Provided you set your internal or external computer's energy-saving setting to 30 minutes (see
pages 48–49) and your currently selected source is this computer, the LightRaise mount will
shut off after 30 minutes of no video signal. This means that your computer will stop sending a
video signal after 30 minutes of inactivity. After another 30 minutes without this signal from the
computer, the LightRaise mount begins to power down.
While your projector will be properly cooled and shut down, a total of one hour will be added to
your lamp life.
NOTE:
The automatic shut-off won't work if the VCR or DVD player source is selected.
