Servicing the SMART LightRaise
Projector Mount
Once it's installed, the SMART LightRaise projector mount doesn't require any servicing.
However, your projector may need occasional servicing. Follow the guidelines in your
projector's owner manual for servicing and bulb replacement. Don't service the projector while
it is powered on. You should unplug the LightRaise console before performing any servicing.
IMPORTANT:
Don't service the projector when it is attached to the boom.
This section of the guide details how to lower the boom for projector removal. Procedures for
removing and remounting your projector depend on what projector is attached to your
LightRaise boom. Read the instructions provided with your projector mounting kit for details
pertaining to your particular projector.
Lowering the Boom
Lower the boom to remove the projector for servicing and to return the projector to the boom.
To lower the boom:

Remove the cover on the underside of the boom that covers the slide stop. This cover is
on the section nearest the wall.
Remove this cover

Pull down on the boom and unscrew the captive thumbscrews that hold the slide stop.
Move the slide stop until the thumbscrews align with the other screw holes. Finally, tighten
the thumbscrews to lock the boom in the lowered position.

Unplug the projector connections and let the cables hang.
