The
first
number
in
the
modei
designation
indicates
the
horsepower
of
the
engine,
the
next
two
numbers
indicate
the
width
in
inches
of
the
Auger
Housing
and
the
iast
number
indicates
the
design
series.
Comprehensive
engine
overhaui/repair
manuais
and
parts
manuais
for
these
models
are
available
from
your
SNAPPER
dealer
at
nominal
cost.
Refer
to
the
Engine
Owners
Manual
for
specific
details
involving
operation
and
service
of
the
engine.

NOMENCLATURE
The
nomenclature
drawing
above
(Figure
1.1)
shows
the
essential
parts
of
the
SNAPPER
Models
LE317
&
LE319
SNOW
THROWERS.
Make
sure
that
each
person
authorized
to
operate
this
Snow
Thrower
reads
this
manual
prior
to
operation
and
pays
particular
attention
to
the
Safety
Precautions
on
the
inside
front
cover
and
to
the
Warning
Decals
on
the
machine.
Also,
make
sure
all
operators
are
thoroughly
familiar
with
all
controls
and
how
to
use
them
before
operating
the
blower.
Make
certain
that
operators
know
beforehand
how
to
stop
the
Auger
and
Engine
in
preparation
for
possible
emergencies.
