3.2 CONNECTION TO THE MAINS POWER SUPPLY AND CONNECTING THE LOAD
3.2.1 Settings for connections
Connection to the mains (1) and the connection of applications (2) should be made by using cables of
appropriate cross-section and which conform to the standards in force. A distribution panel must be set up (if
there is not one already) which can be used to isolate the mains upstream of the UPS. This panel must have an
automatic switch of sufficient capacity for the current absorbed at full load and a differential breaking device.
The mains input may be connected through the cable previously powering the server. For the output
connections, use the two IEC320 cables supplied.
