Inverters do not generally require daily or routine maintenance. Before carrying out
cleaning, ensure that the DC switch and AC circuit breaker between the inverter and
powergridhavebeenswitchedo.Waitatleast5minutesbeforecarryingoutcleaning.

Clean the inverter using an air blower and a dry, soft cloth or a soft bristle brush. Do
NOT clean the inverter with water, corrosive chemicals, cleaning agents etc.

In order to help guarantee correct long-term operation of the inverter, make sure that
thereissucientspaceforventilationaroundtheheatsink.Checktheheatsinkfor
blockages (dust, snow etc.) and remove them if present. Clean the heat sink using an
air blower and a dry, soft cloth or a soft bristle brush. Do NOT clean the heat sink with
water, corrosive chemicals, cleaning agents etc.

Fans must be cleaned and maintained regularly for both performance and safety con-
cerns.
