Additional Connection Options
Creating a Wireless ZigBee Connection
This communication option enables using a ZigBee wireless connection for one of the following:
To wirelessly connect the SolarEdge gateway to other SolarEdge devices (up to 31), and to the
monitoring portal through the Ethernet
To create a master/slave bus of connected SolarEdge devices
The ZigBee device is provided with a user manual, which should be reviewed prior to connection. It is
available on the SolarEdge website at
http://www.solaredge.com/groups/products/communication (under
ZigBee-Home gateway).
Creating a Wi-Fi Connection
This communication option enables using a Wi-Fi connection for connecting the inverter to the SolarEdge
monitoring portal.
The Wi-Fi kit can be purchased separately and assembled during system installation. The Wi-Fi kit is
provided with a user manual, which should be reviewed prior to connection. It is available on the
SolarEdge website at
