Setting the end limits
• Press the Up button:
a) If the E.V.B. raises, the direction of rotation is correct:
go to the section entitled "Setting the end limits".
b) If the E.V.B. lowers, the direction of rotation is incorrect:
press the "my" button until the E.V.B. moves; the direction
of rotation has been modied.
• Press the Up button to check the direction of rotation.
5.3. Checking the motor's direction of rotation
• The J4 RTS motor is factory set to operate with a type 1
E.V.B.. However, the user can select the operating mode
for either a type 1 or type 3 E.V.B..
• Press the Up and "my" buttons to switch between operating
modes.
If the motor switches from type 1 to type 3 operation, the
E.V.B. moves briey at slow speed.
If the motor switches from type 3 to type 1 operation, the
E.V.B. moves briey at normal speed.
E.V.B. Type 1: The slats are raised and lowered using
the cord, and angled using the scale.
E.V.B. Type 3: The slats are raised, lowered and
angled using a chain hidden inside the slides.
If the type 3 operating mode is selected and
adjustment is in automatic mode, check that the
apron's upper slat activates the "mushroom" in
the upper end limit position to prevent damage
to the product.
