Connecting the CD Player
You can connect the unit with analog or digital signal
- depending on your amplifier or D/A converter.
Notes on Connection
« Turn off the power of each unit before making connections.
«Connect the AC power cord last. For the mode! supplied
with the plug adaptor, use it if the plug of the power cord
does not match your wall outlet.
e For CDP-M47/M27 only:
Insert the AC power cord firmly into the AC IN jack on the
rear panel of the unit before you connect it to an AC outlet.
e Be sure to insert the plugs firmly into the jacks. Loose
connection may cause hum and noise.
« Leave a little slack in the connecting cord to allow for
inadvertent shock or vibration.
«Cord plugs and jacks are color coded. Red plugs and jacks
are for the right channel (R) and white ones for the left
channel (L).
Notice for the Customers in the United Kingdom
IMPORTANT
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with
the following code:
Blue: Neutral
Brown: Live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
apparatus may not correspond with the coloured markings
identifying the terminals in your plug proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the.
terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red.

numérique.
Remarques sur les connexions
« Mettre tous les composants hors tension avant de
procéder aux connexions.
« Brancher le cordon d’alimentation en dernier tieu.'
Pour les modéles fournis avec un adaptateur de fiche, se
servir de celui-ci si fa fiche du cordon d’alimentation ne
convient pas 4 la prise du secteur.
e Pour CDP-M47/M27 uniquement:
Insérer a fond la fiche du cordon d’alimentation sur !a prise
AC IN du panneau arriére de l'appareil avant de brancher
celui-ci sur une prise du secteur.
e Veiller 4 insérer convenablement les fiches sur les prises
car un branchement relaché peut devenir source de
ronflement et de parasites.
e En prévision des chocs accidentels ou des vibrations,
laisser un peu de jeu sur les cordons de raccordement.
e Les fiches des cordons et ies prises sont codées par
couleurs. Les fiches et les prises rouges sont destinées au
canal droit (R), tandis que les blanches sont réservées au
canal gauche (L).
