There is no beep sound
when your Network
Walkman is operated.
Your Network Walkman
gets warm.
Cause/Remedy
The free space of the built-in flash memory where you want to
transfer to is not enough for the size of audio files you wish to
transfer.
c Transfer any unnecessary audio files back to the computer to
increase free space.
Non-audio data is stored in the built-in flash memory where you
want to transfer audio files to.
c Move non-audio data to the computer to increase free space.
USB hub or USB extension cable is used.
c Connecting via a USB hub or USB extension cable is not
guaranteed. Connect the dedicated USB cable directly to the
computer.
Your Network Walkman is not connected to the computer properly.
c Quit the SonicStage software and verify the connection of the
dedicated USB cable. Restart the SonicStage software.
Cause/Remedy
BEEP is set to “OFF.”
c In the menu mode, set “BEEP” to ”ON” (page 30).
In normal use, the player may become slightly warm.
