Notes on Installation
Loading the Batteries into the Remote Commander
RM-P101 Programmable System Commander [ RM-U80 Remote Commander
(supplied with STR-AV1000) [ (supplied with STR-AV900)
Do not throw away the carton and packing material.
It will be an ideal container when transporting the unit for repair
work, etc.
To avoid damage caused by battery leakage and corrosion
When the commander will not be used for a long time, remove
the batteries.
Battery life
About a half year of normal operation can be expected when
using the Sony SUM-3(NS) batteries.
When the batteries are run down, the remote commander will not
operate the unit. In this case, replace the batteries with new
ones.
