[] MULTI CHANNEL DECODING indicator
This indicator lights when the unit is decoding signals
recorded in a inulti channel format.
[] 2ND AV button (STR-V444ES)
2ND AUDIO button (STR-V333ES)
Press repeatedly to select 2 channel (stereo) audio and
video signals (STR V444ES) or audio signals only
(STR V333ES) fbr output to a stereo amplifier in
another room (page 11).
Each press selects another audio (and video source)
(except PHONO) to be output fl'om tire 2ND AV jacks
(STR V444ES) or 2ND AUDIO jacks (STR V333ES).
"SOURCE" selects tire same program source as the
nraiil f\lnction controls.
• Even if 2ND AV o1"2ND AUDIO is set to "SOURCE", the
sotmd from fl'ont speakers (L/R) is not output when the
receiver is set to 5.1CH INPUT.
• Only signals fl'om components connected to tile analog
inputs are output through tile 2ND AV or 2ND AUDIO
jacks. No signals are output fl'om components connected to
only the digital inputs.
• When you use AUDIO SPLIT to assign a digital audio
input (fi0r example, DVD OPTICAL) to tbe main ffmction
and set 2ND AV or 2ND AUDIO to "SOURCE". the analog
audio signals of tile assigned audio (for example, analog
audio input of DVD) is output flora tile 2ND AV jacks
(STR V444ES) or 2ND AUDIO jacks (STR V333ES).

Press to activate the setup mode, then use the cursor
buttons ([]) to select any of tire following parameters.
You can inake various settings using the jog dial (1_).

speaker position, and whether or not you
are using a sub woofer (page 18).
Speaker Distance Specify the fl'ont, center_ rear L/R, and

LFE High Cut Select tile cutoff fl'equency of tile LFE
