4.6.3
Changing the outfeed belt
-
Remove the side safety guards.
-
Slacken the belt as far as possible.
-
Remove the plastic guard fitted on the belt frame inside the outfeed mouth
of the machine.

, remove the fixing screws of the cap
below.

Remove the Seeger ring securing the shaft

Remove the two screws fixing the belt panel to the machine uprights and
pull the belt unit slightly towards the exit so as to free the support panel from
the roller necks.

Pull the pulley

towards you, having first tapped the neck of
the roller

, and remove the entire cylinder.

Remove the whole outfeed belt unit.

Change the belt.
-
Re-fit the complete unit until you can insert the previously removed roller
from inside the belt.

Re-fit the Seeger ring and secure the cap to the opposite side.

Push the support panel so that it the end engages with cylinder necks.
-
Secure the panel to the uprights with the screws and adjust the height.

Re-fit the plastic guard.
-
Tension the belt as previously described.

Remove the belt

Disconnect the electrical cables from the motor terminal board, making a
note of the order in which they are connected.

Turn the handwheel

until you have completely withdrawn the
threaded rod

, having first removed the relative retaining
screw at its end, from the dowel

Re-fit the dowel

Free the motor base rotation pin

by unscrewing the fixing hex
screw located on the upright shim.
-
Slacken the screws which secure the two spacers onto the pin located
inside the motor base slots.
-
Place the motor on the ground.
-
Take out the pin and replace the spacers.
-
Remove the motor with its base and pulley.
-
Separate the base and pulley from the motor to be changed and fit them
onto the new motor.
-
Re-fit the unit onto the machine, inserting the pin
ref. 9 photo 5
into the rele-
vant holes in the uprights, in the slots in the base and the spacers inside
them.
-
Lock the pin with the upright by means of the appropriate screw.
