Cleaning the dividing chamber, the main piston ref. 1

The dividing chamber must be kept clean for the machine to operate
correctly.
To gain access to the chamber, proceed as follows:
-
remove the two top guards which are press-fitted into their mountings and
each connected to a safety microswitch.
-
Remove the 6 screws

Turn the hopper and let it fit into place under its own weight as shown in

Take out the deflecting plate

and clean it thoroughly.
-
Take out the piston
ref. 1

and clean it thoroughly.

Finally clean the piston chamber
ref. 1

Refit the above parts in the same order.
-
Return the hopper to its position and fix the 6 screws

To clean the secondary piston
ref. 3

proceed as follows:
-
remove the plug

Raise the block

, rotating it around the pin

Take out the piston
ref. 3

and clean it thoroughly.

Also clean the chamber in which it is housed.
-
Refit the piston.

Lower the block
ref. 5

Insert the plug

Refit the protective guard.

t
It is strictly forbidden to clean the dividing chamber in any way other
than as described above. It is particularly forbidden to access the
chamber from the top of the hopper, using the support surfaces for
the raised feet, even if the machine is switched off, because in the
unlikely event of the machine accidentally starting, the exposed per-
son would be at risk of serious injury.
