4. Insertthetabsintotheslotsinthefrontofthelibrary,thenslidethe
coverdownward.Pushtheupperedgeofthecoverinwardtowardthe
frontpaneluntilthemagnetssecureittothefrontpanel.
Powering On the Library
1. Pressandholdthefrontpanelpowerbutton(seeLocatingtheFanson
page 6)fortwotothreesecondsoruntilthebutton’sLEDilluminates.
2. Waitwhilethelibrarycompletesitspower‐onsequence,whichtakes
aboutfiveminutes(dependingonthelibraryconfiguration).
Duringthepower‐onsequencethelibraryinitializesallofitsinstalled
components.Thelibraryisreadytobeginoperationwhenthelogin
screendisplaysonthefrontpanel.
Restarting Backups
Useyourbackupsoftwaretorestartanybackupprocessestothelibrary.
