2. Precautions for torque limiter
Matters needing attention when using torque limiter
Try to avoid using it in a strong acid or strong alkaline environment. Otherwise, unexpected
malfunctions may occur.
Do not apply impact to the main body of the torque limiter, such as colliding with an object.
Do not push the panel of the torque limiter body with sharp objects such as the tip of a screwdriver.
Do not remove the housing cover or panel board from the torque limiter body, or disassemble the
torque limiter body.
Precautions when setting the torque limiter
The torque limiter calculates the torque under the assumption that the machine is level.
If the crane is used when the machine is not level, warnings and alarms will not be issued even if it is
close to the rated total load.
When viewing the level, always support all the outriggers horizontally on the ground.
Before using the crane, check whether the boom angle display, boom length display and the actual
load display of the torque limiter are displayed correctly as the crane moves. If it is used without the
correct display, it will result in the inability to obtain the correct measurement results, and may cause
serious personal accidents due to improper operation.
Ensure that the wire rope magnification setting of the torque limiter matches the number of wire
rope strands of the crane. If it does not match, please match by changing the torque limiter's
magnification setting or by changing the number of crane wire rope strands.
When using the torque limiter for measurement, please do not change the setting arbitrarily.
