9.2 Replace engine oil
• Run the genset at zero load for 3 minutes and shut down
the engine. Unscrew the oil drain plug at the bottom of the
engine when the engine is still hot, drain off the oil
completely.
• Tighten the plug after drain. Fill the fresh oil and to the
indicated level of oil dipstick.
9.3 Clean the engine oil filter
Cleaning interval Every 6 months or 500 hours
Replace the filter if necessary
• Remove the oil filter element with oil filter wrench and
clean the Filter element.
• Replace the element if it’s damaged.
• Spread a thin oil film on the new oil filter sealing surface
and reinstall the filter. Clean the filter seat after the filter
is tightly screwed.
