these instructions to operate the power tool. Power

5. Service
a. Have your power tool serviced by a qualied repair
person using only identical replacement parts. This

hands are holding the saw, they cannot be cut

u Do not reach underneath the workpiece. The guard
cannotprotectyoufromthebladebelowtheworkpiece.
u Adjust the cutting depth to the thickness of the work-
piece. Less than a full tooth of the blade teeth should be
visiblebelowtheworkpiece.
u Never hold piece being cut in your hands or across
your leg. Secure the workpiece to a stable platform. It
isimportanttosupporttheworkproperlytominimizebody
exposure,bladebinding,orlossofcontrol.
u Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces when
performing an operation where the cutting accessory
may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Cutting ac-
cessorycontactinga"live"wiremaymakeexposedmetal
parts of the power tool "live" and could give the operator
anelectricshock
u When ripping, always use a rip fence or straight edge
guide. This improves the accuracy of cut and reduces the
chanceofbladebinding.
u Always use blades with correct size and shape (dia-
mond versus round) of arbour holes.
Blades that do not match the mounting hardware of the
sawwillruneccentrically,causinglossofcontrol.
u Never use damaged or incorrect blade washers or
bolt. The blade washers and bolt were specially designed
for your saw, for optimum performance and safety of
operation.

u The accessory will continue to move after releasing the

sory to come to a complete standstill before putting the
tooldown.
u Keep blades sharp. Dull or damaged blades may cause
thesawtoswerveorstallunderpressure.Alwaysusethe
appropriatetypeofsawbladefortheworkpiecematerial
andtypeofcut.
u Whencuttingpipeorconduit,makesurethattheyarefree
fromwater,electricalwiring,etc.
u Donottouchtheworkpieceorthebladeimmediatelyafter
operatingthetool.Theycanbecomeveryhot.
u Be aware of hidden hazards, before cutting into walls,
oorsorceilings,checkforthelocationofwiringand
pipes.
u Avoid cutting nails, inspect the material that is being cut to
seeiftherearenailsinitandremovebeforecutting.
u Donotrunthesawwhilecarryingitatyourside.
u Makesurethedepthlockingleveristightandsecure
beforemakingacut.
u When cutting is interrupted or the blade bound, please
releasethetriggerimmediatelyandholdthesawrmly
inthematerialuntilthebladecomestoacompletestop.
Neverattempttoremovethesawfromtheworkorpull
thesawbackwardwhilethebladeisinmotion,otherwise,
kickbackmighthappen.
