Indirect Measurement IV, V & VI (Base on Angle Sensor)
The LMXP-100 has STARRETT has measurement from angles, meaning, put the angle in the calculation to obtain a
dimension, so:
- Vertical:
1- Press the button seven times to select the measurement from an angle function ;
2- After a few moments the laser will be turned on;
3- Tilt the instrument for the upper diagonal, with this dimension the instrument, using the horizontal line as a base, will
calculate the vertical dimension.
- Horizontal
1- Press the button eight times to select the measurement from an angle function ;
2- After a few moments the laser will be turned on;
3- Tilt the instrument for the upper diagonal, with this dimension the instrument will calculate the vertical dimension
based on the vertical line.
- Horizontal 1
1- Press the button eight times to select the measurement from an angle function ;
2- After a few moments the laser will be turned on;
3- Tilt the instrument for the upper diagonal, then tilt the tool to obtain the lower diagonal, with these dimensions and the
angle formed between them, the instrument will give the size of the connecting line between the two points.
Bluetooth Setup
The STARRETT LMXP-100 has built-in Bluetooth 4.0 and supports all phones with the same technology, to connect
the instrument with the cell, proceed as follows:
1- Press the button to turn on the instrument's tracking mode, the Bluetooth icon will start pulsing on the screen;

2- On the Starrett STR³ application will indicate the instrument;
3- Select proper device in the Connection Manager of STR³;
4- After connected with a beep sound, the icon will stop pulsing.
