Addition and Subtraction of Measures
The STARRETT LMXP-100 has addition and subtraction of measures functions. To use this resource, follow the steps
below:
1- After performing any measurement, press the button to add or the button to subtract, this dimension will
be temporarily stored in the memory;
2- After this, take the next measurement and press the or button again;
3- The result is automatically shown on the display.

Note: This function must be used with the same unit and type of measurement.
Continuous Measurement
For continuous measurements, follow the steps below::
1- Press the button for a few seconds to activate continuous measurement;
2- The results will vary according to the movement of the instrument and will be updated instantly on the display;
3- To pause the continuous measurement press the button or button;
4- If you want to return to continuous measurement, press the button;
5- To exit this function, press the button.

Timer for Measurements
The STARRETT LMXP-100 has a timer for taking more stable measurements; it is possible to choose from 3 to 15 seconds. To
use this resource, follow the steps below:
1- In any function, press the button to select the desired time for measurement;
2- After selecting the desired time, press the button to perform the measurement;
3- The instrument beeps once every second and twice after the measurement is taken.
Demarcation (Predefined Measurements)
The STARRETT LMXP-100 has a demarcation function, where the user can predefine equidistant dimensions; to
configure this function, proceed as follows:
Configuration:
1- Press the button six times to edit the length of the stake;
2- To pre-set a dimension, press the or button and to alternate between decimal places, press the
button;
3- After the desired dimension is set, press the button and then press the button to exit the function.
