Operator Troubleshooting Equipment Manual P093932-203
The information included in this section is intended for general
troubleshooting or fault identification by an operator. Any in-depth
troubleshooting or servicing should only be conducted by a STERIS-
trained service technician.
Use Table 5-1 to identifiy problems with the Harmony
®
LED385
Examination Lighting System. The table also offers any probable
causes and corrections to problems that may occur.
If you are unable to correct the problem with this operator
troubleshooting table, or if a problem occurs not described in the
table, please call STERIS. A representative will arrange to have your
equipment promptly put into working order by a factory-trained
representative. Never permit unqualified persons to service the
lighthead, controls or suspension arm.
WARNING – PERSONAL
INJURY HAZARD: Repairs and
adjustments to the unit should
be made only by trained, fully
qualified personnel. Work by
inexperienced or unqualified
persons or the installation of
unauthorized parts could
cause personal injury,
invalidate the warranty or
result in costly damage.
WARNING – ELECTRIC
SHOCK AND BURN HAZARD:
• Disconnect all utilities to
the examination light before
servicing. Do not install the
examination light unless all
utilities have been properly
locked out. Always follow
OSHA Lockout-Tagout and
electrical safety-related
work practice standards.
• Do not attempt to clean
lighthead unless power is
turned off and the lighthead
has cooled sufficiently.
