6.3 Adjustments
6.3.1 Adjust Spring Arm See Figure 6-2.
The lighting system is supplied already balanced and needs no
further adjustment. If, in time, the spring balancing swing arm stiffens
or loosens, it is possible to adjust the compression of the internal
spring.
1. Slide rubber grommet forward.
2. Slide cover along spring arm.
3. Insert pin having maximum diameter of 4 mm into holes of ring
nut and rotate in the directions of the arrows (shown in Figure 6-
2) to increase/decrease spring tension.
• If spring arm lowers, the elastic force of the spring is
insufficient: rotate lever downward to increase spring
tension.
• If spring arm still goes up, the elastic force of the spring is
too high: rotate lever upward to decrease spring tension.
4. Put cover back to its original position.
