Stihl FC 83 - Replacing Cutting Blade

A bent or cracked blade must not be
straightened or welded – it may break
completely! Such blades must be
replaced (see chapter “Fitting the
Cutting Blade”). Only use genuine
STIHL cutting blades with part number
4133 713 4101 (marking 33/01).
: Replace the blade (1) when its
length (A) is no longer sufficient to
maintain the necessary ground
clearance (B) and obtain the
required depth of cut (C).
To avoid out-of-balance:
check cutting blade on STIHL
balancer 5910 850 2600.
Do not resharpen the blade!
