N Insert the screws (7) in the holes
and screw them into the barrier bar
as far as stop.
N Keep other parts in a safe place.
N Go to "Securing the Loop Handle".
Mounting Loop Handle without Barrier
Bar (not approved in all markets)
N Place the clamp (1) in the loop
handle (2) and position them both
against the shaft (3).
N Position the clamp (4) against the
shaft.
N Line up the holes.
N Fit washers (5) on the screws (6)
and insert the screws in the holes.
Fit the square nuts (7) and screw
them down as far as stop.
N Keep other parts in a safe place.
N Go to "Securing the Loop Handle".
Securing the Loop Handle
N Mount the loop handle (1) about 20
cm (8 in) (A) forward of the control
handle (2).
N Line up the loop handle.
N Tighten down the screws firmly –
lock the nuts if necessary.
Checking Position of Throttle Cable
The whole length of the throttle cable
must run parallel to the flexible shaft.
If this is not the case:
N Push the throttle cable (1) into the
cable retainer (2) about 20 cm (8 in)
in front of the powerhead (distance
A).
N Push the throttle cable (1) into the
cable retainer (3) about 15 cm (6 in)
from the end of the shaft (distance
B).
