  If your Stihl Trimmer doesn't start, several factors could be the cause. The battery's charge might be too low, so try fully recharging it. The battery could also be too hot or too cold; in that case, remove it and allow it to reach a moderate temperature. There might be a malfunction, so remove the battery, clean the electrical contacts, reinsert the battery, and try again. If 3 LEDs continue to flash red, contact your STIHL dealer. The trimmer itself might be too hot, so remove the battery and let it cool down. There could be a fault in the battery; remove and reinsert it, and if 4 LEDs continue to flash red, contact a STIHL authorized dealer. Finally, there might be no electrical contact; remove the battery and clean the contacts before reinserting it.
