8 Adjusting Trimmer for User
Move the loop handle (1) to the required position and
check that the following conditions are met:
The bump guard (3) fits between the loop handle (1) and
carrying ring.
If you are using a mowing head: a = no more than 30 cm
If you are using a metal cutting attachment: a = no more
than 25 cm
Tighten down the screws (2) so that the loop handle (1)
cannot be rotated on the shaft.
8.2 Fitting and Adjusting the Carrying System
Put on the shoulder strap (1) or full harness (3).
Adjust the shoulder strap (1) or full harness (3) so that the
carabiner (2) is about a hand’s width below your right hip.

8.3 Balancing the Brushcutter
The cutting attachment should rest lightly on the ground.
Switch off the brushcutter and remove the battery.
Connect the carrying ring (2) to the carabiner (1).
Wait for brushcutter to stop swinging.
Check the position of cutting attachment. If it needs
adjustment:
