11 Installing the Perimeter Wire
The iMow Ruler is designed to help you maintain the proper
the clearances when installing the perimeter wire.
To ensure that the robotic mower runs without contacting
any obstacle, even around corners:
Keep a minimum clearance of the length of the iMow Ruler
(a = 13 in. (33 cm)) from obstacles.
If routing the perimeter wire in confined areas, keep a
minimum clearance of (21.3 in. (54 cm)), @ 11.5.
Maintain the wire clearance a = 13 in. (33 cm) at the
corners around high obstacles such as wall corners or
high flowerbeds (2). This keeps the robotic mower from
scraping against the obstacle.
