26.1 Installation Examples
Rectangular mowing area with one tree and swimming pool:
– Docking station: Location (1) next to the house (A).
– Restricted area: Installation around the free-standing
tree (3), based on a linking section installed at right angles
to the perimeter of the mowing area.
– Swimming pool: Distance between perimeter wire (2) and
pool (B): 3.3 ft. (1 m).
– Wire clearances:
– Clearance from obstacles which can be travelled on,
such as patios and paths with a maximum height
difference between lawn area and obstacle of +/- 0.4 in.
(1 cm): 0 in. (0 cm)
– Clearance from high obstacles: 13 in. (33 cm)
– Clearance from the tree: 13 in. (33 cm)
– Clearance from the pool: 3.3 ft. (1 m)
– Programming: No further modification is necessary
following definition of the size of the mowing area.
– Particulars: Unmowed areas around the swimming pool
must be mowed manually or cut with a suitable trimmer or
other tool.
