Attach the mowing blade (1), screw in the
blade fastening screw (2 – apply Loctite
243) with retaining washer (3 – observe
convexity) and tighten to a torque of
65 - 70 Nm. Counterhold the mowing
blade when tightening the blade fastening
screw.
● RT 5112 Z, RT 6112 C, RT 6112 ZL,
RT 6127 ZL:
Check the installation position of the
mowing blades.
15.14 Checking the installation
position of the mowing deck
Maintenance interval:
Every 50 operating hours or as required
(e.g. following severe impacts to the
mowing deck or a poor cut).
The mowing deck is in the correct
installation position when it is tilted slightly
forwards – the front of the mowing deck is
slightly lower than the rear.
● Park the machine on level ground.
● Stop the engine. (Ö 13.3)
● Engage the parking brake. (Ö 8.14)
● Remove the ignition key and keep it in a
safe place.
● Select the lowest cutting level. (Ö 8.15)
Difference in height A=10mm.
15.15 Changing the wheels
In the case of damage (holes, cracks, cuts,
etc.) to the wheels, remove the damaged
wheel and take it to a specialised dealer.
Lifting and supporting the machine:
● Park the machine on firm and level
ground and secure it against rolling
away.
● Stop the engine. (Ö 13.3)
● Engage the parking brake. (Ö 8.14)
● Remove the ignition key and keep it in a
safe place.
To relieve the weight on the front wheels,
support the ride-on mower at the front
axle:
A=at least 260 mm
Uniform tyre pressure is a
prerequisite for checking the
correct installation position.
Therefore check the tyre pressure
of all the tyres and adjust if
necessary before checking the
installation position. (Ö 15.16)
Risk of injury!
Bear in mind the heavy weight of
the machine when lifting it (see
section "Technical specifications").
(Ö 22.)
If necessary, lift the machine with
the help of a second person or
using a jack (not included in the
standard equipment).
Secure the machine against rolling
away before lifting.
The brake only acts on the rear
wheels. Secure the machine
against rolling away when lifting the
rear axle.
Avoid damage to the machine
When supporting, ensure that only
the axle or the rear panel of the
machine contacts the trailer
coupling.
Only lift the machine at suitable
components (e.g. frame, rims,
axle). Never lift or support the
machine at plastic parts.
