Checking the suction tube
► Check whether the wear mark (1) on the suction tube is
visible.
► If there is no visible wear mark on the suction tube: Do not
use the vacuum shredder and contact your STIHL dealer
for assistance.
► If you have any doubts, be sure to consult a STIHL dealer.
Checking the wear pad
► Remove the suction tube.
► Check whether the wear pad (1) is damaged.
► If the wear pad is damaged: Do not use the vacuum
shredder and contact your STIHL dealer for assistance.
► If you have any doubts, be sure to consult a STIHL dealer.
10.3 Testing the Battery
► Press button on battery.
The LEDs glow or flash.
► If the LEDs do not glow or flash: Do not use the battery
and contact your STIHL servicing dealer.
There is a malfunction in the battery.
11.1 Holding and Guiding the Vacuum Shredder
► Hook the carrier rings (2) into the carabiners (1)
► Hold and control your vacuum shredder with your left hand
on the loop handle and your right hand on the control
handle. Wrap the thumb of your left hand around the loop
handle and the thumb of your right hand around the
control handle.
