What to do if my Stihl TSA 230 Saw does not start when switched on?

First, remove the battery, visually inspect the contacts, and reinsert the battery to ensure there's a good electrical connection. If that doesn't work, the battery's charge might be too low, and you'll need to charge it. The battery could also be too hot or too cold; let it cool down or warm up to between 15 °C and 20 °C. If 4 LEDs on the battery flash red, remove and reinsert the battery; if they continue to flash, the battery is faulty and needs replacement. The machine itself might be too hot, so allow it to cool off. If 3 LEDs on the battery flash red, remove and reinsert the battery; if the flashing continues, the machine needs repair. Finally, check for moisture in the machine or battery and let them dry.
