Resolution of Operating Defects
The operating defects which can occur during
forklift use are indicated in this section, with
relative causes and solutions. If the defects
should persist even after having carried out all
of the checks indicated, contact the manufac-
turer's authorised service network.
Defect: THE TRUCK DOES NOT START
POSSIBLE CAUSES SOLUTIONS
Battery outlet not connected or connected in-
correctly.
Check the battery outlet and, if necessary, con-
nect it correctly.
Low battery charge.
Check the battery charge level and, if necessa-
ry, charge it.
The key ignition switch is set to position "0"
(forklift off).
Turn the switch to "I" (forklift on).
Defect: THE TRUCK IS TURNED ON, BUT DOES NOT MOVE
POSSIBLE CAUSES SOLUTIONS
The drive control throttle is not turned.
Turn the drive control throttle in the desired di-
rection of travel.
Incorrect command sequence when switching
on the truck.
Repeat the sequence of commands correctly.
Tiller in rest position Position the tiller in the working position
The slow speed button has not been pressed
(tiller always active version only)
Press the slow speed button (optional)
Defect: THE FORKLIFT IS NOT ABLE TO LIFT THE LOAD
POSSIBLE CAUSES SOLUTIONS
Load too heavy!
Make sure the weight of the load to be lifted
does not exceed the forklift's maximum capaci-
ty.
The forklift is not ready for service.
Perform all of the checks indicated for “the fork-
lift does not start or move".
Low battery charge.
Check the battery charge level and, if necessa-
ry, charge it.
Incorrect lifting starting sequence
Use the correct sequence: tiller in working posi-
tion, lifting button pressed
