The STREX OBD2 (On-Board Diagnostics) Scanner is a tool used to diagnose and retrieve diagnostic
trouble codes (DTCs) from a vehicle's computer system. The scanner plugs into the vehicle's OBD2
port, which is typically located under the dashboard and communicates with the vehicle's onboard
computer to retrieve information about the engine, transmission, and emissions systems.
The intended use of this OBD2 scanner is to identify and diagnose problems with a vehicle's
systems and components, such as engine misres, faulty sensors, and emissions issues. The
scanner can also be used to clear DTCs after a problem has been xed and to monitor the vehicle's
performance and emissions over time. There are no other uses for this product.
Only use the OBD2 scanner as described in this manual. Any other use is considered improper and
may result in personal injury or material damage. STREX is not liable for damage or injury resulting
from improper or careless use.
