WATER
WARNING: This device is not waterproof.
● Never use the OBD2 Scanner with damp or wet hands. Moisture can
cause electric shock or short circuits.
● Do not use in wet environments and do not immerse in liquid. Never
pour liquids over or near the OBD2 Scanner. There is a risk of electric
shock/short circuit! When liquid does get into the housing disconnect
it immediately.
● Make sure the device is placed or lying on a dry surface.
CLEANING
● Always disconnect the device from the DLC before cleaning.
● A soft dry cloth is recommended for cleaning the exterior of the OBD2 Scanner.
● Be careful not to put too much pressure on the display and buttons of the OBD2 Scanner while
cleaning.
● Do not immerse the OBD2 Scanner in water or any other liquids. It is not allowed to rinse the
device with water, to prevent the water from leaking into the electrical circuit and causing
malfunctions.
● Under no circumstances use aggressive cleanings agent, cleaning alcohol, or other chemical
solutions since these can penetrate the housing or impair functionality.
● Do not use abrasive objects for cleaning.
● Cleaning must not be performed by children.
