2015 Legacy and Outback New Technology Training (Module 926)
Day-time Running Lamps (DRL)
DRLs for the 2015 Legacy and Outback now function with the turn signals to improve visibility.
When a turn signal is activated, the corresponding DRL will turn off to improve the visibility for
surrounding vehicles and pedestrians.
DRLs OFF DRLs ON Left Turn Signal ON
In order to achieve this individual control in response to turn-signal function, Headlight control is
now independent for each side and additional relays have be added.
