Introduction
2015 Legacy and Outback receive the improved Version 3 EyeSight
®
Driver Assistance system.
The Version 3 system offers the same features as the Version 2 with the addition of Pre-collision
Steering Assist. Existing features receive several performance enhancements increasing overall
range and response speed.

The Version 3 EyeSight
®
cameras have been redesigned to be more compact. However, the
windshield prohibited areas remain the same due to the increased horizontal range. Windshield
repair and Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) areas also remain the same.
