2.2 Channel Mode
In channel mode, the rig operates in a traditional manner with 6 bands of 40 channels selectable
by the band selector and tuning with the fine and coarse control. In this mode the frequency
step indicator is not shown as per the image below:
2.2.1 Available operating bands
In channel mode, 6 bands are selectable including the UK 27/81 band with correct channel and
frequency readout.

2.3 Alpha channels
Alpha channels are inserted automatically in-between normal channels as you turn the channel
selector as per the list below:
... 3 → 3A → 4 → 5 → 6 → 7 → 7A → 8 → 9 → 10 →
11 → 11A → 12 → 13 → 14 → 15 → 15A → 16 → 17 → 18 → 19 → 19A → 20 ...
Alpha channels can be identified by the small A to the right of the channel number as in the
example below:
