Air Pressure Adjustment
1. Raise the front wheel off the
ground and support the motor-
cycle using a jack.
2. Remove the left and right air
bleeder valves 1 and equalize
the air pressure in the front
forks to atmospheric pressure.
3. Apply grease to the new O-
ring 2 and tighten the air
bleeder valve 1 to the speci-
fied torque.
Grease 99000-25100
(SUZUKI SILICONE
GREASE or equivalent
grease)
Front fork air bleeder valve:
1.3 N·m (0.13 kgf-m, 0.95 lbf-ft)
Compression Damping Force
Adjustment
To set the adjuster, you must gently
turn the adjust screw 1 clockwise
until it stops, then back it out the
recommended number of clicks. Do
not force the adjust screw 1 past
the stopped position, or you may
damage the adjuster.
Standard setting:
counterclockwise 8 clicks
Rebound Damping Force
Adjustment
To set the adjuster, you must gently
turn the adjust screw 2 clockwise
until it stops, then back it out the
recommended number of clicks. Do
not force the adjust screw 2 past
the stopped position, or you may
damage the adjuster.
Standard setting:
counterclockwise 11 clicks
