DTC TROUBLESHOOTING
DTC “25” (C1625): WHEEL SPEED SENSOR RELATED MALFUNCTION
Step 1
1) Check that the specified tires are installed.
TIRE TYPE:
Front: DUNLOP D220FST 120/60ZR17M/C 55W
(SV650A)
: DUNLOP D220FST M 120/60ZR17M/C 55W
(SV650SA)
Rear: DUNLOP D220ST L 160/60ZR17M/C 69W
Are the tires OK?
Step 2
1) Make sure the tire pressure for each tire.
(#SV650/SK3 2-29)
Is the tire pressure for each tire correct?
Step 3
1) Inspect both wheel speed sensor rotors for damage and
check that no foreign objects are caught in the rotor open-
ings.
Are the rotors OK?
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Incorrect tire size, poor tire pressure, deformed wheel, wheel
spinning, incorrect tooth count, interference at one or more
wheels, permanent bad signal, etc.
YES Go to step 2.
NO Use the specified tires.
COLD INFLATION
TIRE PRESSURE
SOLO RIDING DUAL RIDING

FRONT 225 2.25 33 225 2.25 33
REAR 250 2.50 36 250 2.50 36
YES Go to step 3.
NO Adjust the tire pressure.
YES Go to step 4.
NO Clean or replace the rotor.
