Alternator charging coil
Caution
Check
Remove the 3P connector of the alternator.
Measure the resistance between the white
wire on the alternator and frame ground with
a multi-meter.
Standard: 0.6±

Replace the alternator charging coil if the
measured value exceeds standard.
Alternator lighting coil
Check
Remove the 3P connector of the alternator.
Measure the resistance between the yellow
wire on the alternator and frame ground by
multi-meter.
Standard: 0.8±

Replace the alternator lighting coil if the
measured value exceeds standard.
The check of alternator charging coil and
illumination coil can be done when the
alternator is mounted on engine.
