Starter relay inspection
Key on and pull the brake lever and press the
starter switch.
If a sound of “Looh Looh” is heard, it indicates
the relay function normally.
Disconnect the negative terminal wire.
Disconnect the starter relay coupler.
Connect an ohmmeter to the starter relay
terminal.
Connect the green / yellow wire to the battery
positive terminal and the yellow / red wire to
the battery negative terminal.
Check the continuity of the starter relay
terminal.
If there is no continuity, replace the relay.
