2. Connecting PC to Portbase
This type of connection is used when the PC needs to collect data from the open socket of Portbase
directly. When the connection is established, full-duplex communication is possible.
From either PC1 or PC2, telnet application, serial communication program, or socket program can be
used to connect to Portbase. When the connection is established, communication with the serial
devices connected to Portbase is possible.
The following example describes configuration using a telnet connection. The first serial port of
Portbase is used in this example.
