I cannot erase a file.

Confirm that you are not trying to erase a file that has been
copied from a computer after being write-protected.

This unit’s files do not appear on the computer.

Confirm that the unit is connected to the computer using its USB
port.
•
Confirm that USB hubs are not used.
•
Confirm that the unit is not recording or in recording standby
mode.
