7. Trouble shooting table
Troubleshooting- Inverter/AC charger
Proceed as following for quick detection of common faults.
DC loads must be disconnected from the batteries and the AC loads must be disconnected from
the inverter before the inverter and/or battery charger is tested.
Energier Apollo provides a fault LED indication, when fault LED light up, user can check alarm event
through LCD interface.
Consult your TBB power distributor if the fault cannot be resolved.
Problem
The AC charger
does not function
Correct the connection
The inverter fails to
operate when switched on
The battery voltage is over voltage
or under voltage
The alarm LED light up
(check LCD alarm
interface for detail)
The DC input is under voltage
AC input wire loose connection Secure the connection
Wrong connection of N and PE
of AC input
Change to weak grid / Gen mode
with LCD interface
Check if use generator as AC input
The AC input voltage or
frequency is out of range
Ensure that the input voltage is
between 184VAC and 264VAC, and
the frequency matches the setting
The circuit breaker has tripped Reset the circuit breaker
AC charger has been disabled Enable AC charger
Cause
The load on the inverter is higher
than the nominal load
Charge the batteries, reduce the load
or install batteries with a higher
capacity. Use shorter and/or thicker
battery cables
Solution
Reduce the load
The ambient temperature is too high
Place the inverter in a cool and well-
-ventilated room, or reduce the load
Charge the battery or check the
battery connections
